I became a fan of KPOP from the second generation, so listening to TVXQ, Bigbang, Girls' Generation, and KARA is still exciting.

While I do listen to the fourth-generation KPOP these days, they are so great but  I can't quite get used to them. Despite its stylish , edgy  and addictive songs, the second generation's music somehow feels more emotional than recent music. It might be because I got older, or perhaps I no longer connect with the new era. I felt like my feelings were left behind.

Recent KPOP seems strategically aimed, especially when targeting the American market, with entire songs in English. It forces us to need more precise melodies  rather than popular music lyrics. It feels like they aim for addictive, mass-appealing well, and memorable music that can be enjoyed anytime. On the other hand, older KPOP expressed sentiments like "I love you; it's so painful to part ways," capturing and expressing emotions on a deeper level. I like it.

Older KPOP told us our feelings with songs instead of us. It was something that helped me every time I listened to it. Recent KPOP doesn't evoke the empathy from me.I just enjoy it for its technical prowess, as it seems meticulously crafted like a piece of art.

This is my way to read books . Today's I will show you how to choose books and when I read books.

<How to choose books>

--> Favorites writter's past work or random choice each bookshelves

There are so many books in the bookstore and library. It is difficult for us to even choose a book we want to read .

My way to choose books is very easy.  I pick my favorite writter's books up. If you like 'Murakami Haruka', try reading through Murakami Haruki's work. You can back to read Murakami haruki's books.

I want to read without any bias across the genre, so I'll pick one book each from novels, essays , general knowledge and academic books.

A point to note is that for a genre you're reading for the first time, it's better to choose a thin book rather than a thick one. Since it's easy to give up reading, it's advisable to lower the difficulty level and pick something that can be read without much burden.

<When do I read books?>

---> Essays on weekends. Novels on weekdays.

I read essays on weekends. The reason is that I can make an effort to receive any emotional things from books and understand without any bias. When I can't make an effort to read books, I tend to become more negative in my opinions and perspectives. 

On the other hand, I read novels on weekdays. My hands move automatically to proceed the page without emotional things. 

When I read technical books, I decide which pages  I can read in a day. Technical books are very attractive for me but sometimes there is too much information, so I would better keep reading pace following my understanding about the books.

There is no friend as loyal as a book!📕
